Winter break is almost here, and our one-year anniversary lands on January 7. It’s a big moment, and we’ve got a lot happening, so here’s everything in one spot. Make sure to scroll all the way to the end to have your voice heard in our one-year impact report.

Ongoing & Upcoming

Executive Team Applications are OPEN 🚀

Our 2026 Exec Team apps are officially live. Dr. Interested is part of Caritas Canada and Imagine Canada and registered with the United Nations Economic and Social Development Council. The whole thing runs on Discord with optional in-person meetups depending on your city.

If you apply, you’re committing to six months on the team and about two hours a week. You can take small breaks during exams.

Exec members get volunteer hours. Mentorship and letters of recommendation from medical students. Global opportunities. Even fully covered trips to conferences. Past members went to events in Vancouver and Toronto to represent us.

Cards for Doctors ❤️‍🩹

Students are creating appreciation cards for doctors across the GTA. You can write them by hand or submit digital ones. Keep it kind, respectful and encouraging.

You earn 0.5 volunteer hours per card. You can submit up to 20 cards for 10 hours total.
